YOUR FIRST
PHYSIOTHERAPY VISIT
Common Questions:
Do I Need A Doctor's Note To Begin Physiotherapy?
No. You do not need a doctor’s referral to receive physiotherapy, however, if you are submitting your therapy through your private insurance company, you may want to check to see if they require a doctor’s referral before they will provide extended coverage. Each plan is different. If you have any questions, please contact us.
You MAY require a referral for physiotherapy related to an ICBC claim. Please inquire with your ICBC adjuster.
How Long Will My Appointment Take?
It depends on what time slot you booked for. We generally book 30 min to 1-hour time slots with longer appointments for first visit and new complaints.
If you are a new patient, please fill out the intake forms before arriving. If you do not fill them in advance, please arrive 15 minute before your scheduled appointment time.
